PUBLIC NOTICE The Board of Commissioners of Crawford County hereby invite bids from potential purchasers interested in acquiring two lots in Sadsbury Township, bearing combined Tax Map No. 4407-015-119-134. Said lots are vacant, non-contiguous land-locked parcels located in the vicinity of Brown Road near Conneaut Lake Borough. Bid Submission Procedures are as follows: a. On September 5th, the City of Valdosta will have completed copies of the CAPER for FY 2017 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for review. The purpose of the CAPER is to provide the City of Valdosta with an opportunity to evaluate its overall progress on an annual basis in carrying out priorities and objectives identified in the HUD-approved Consolidated Plan and to report its progress to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the citizens of Valdosta. The reports are specific to the following programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), in non-entitlement areas, from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. ATTENTION PRINCETON LANDLORDS The City of Princeton Code Enforcement Department, Director Bill J. Buzzo, Jr., announces that the city has adopted a new ordinance concerning residential rental properties. The purpose of the "Rental Compliance and Safety" article is to establish minimum health and safety standards for rental housing in the City. Residential rental Property Owners are notified that the newly approved ordinance became effective August 11th, 2018 and requires all landlords of residential Rental Properties to register their properties and obtain a Rental Compliance Certificate. Landlords are encouraged to take advantage of a 90 day grace period to register without penalty, and thereafter, a penalty of $100 per month for each month that the unit was illegally occupied subject to a maximum penalty of $500. A housing inspection will be conducted by a City Code Official and shall issue a Certificate of Compliance to those units passing inspection. The certificate is valid for 3 years. Our goal is to help ensure safe rental housing in the city of Princeton, and to work with property owners and tenants to help make Princeton a better place to live, work or visit.
