PUBLIC NOTICE CRAWFORD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids by the Crawford County Commissioners at their office located as the Crawford County Courthouse, 1st Floor, 903 Diamond Park, Meadville, PA, 16335. Bids will be accepted until 10:00 AM (EST), Prevailing Time on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 for the following contract: CONTRACT FOR ELECTRICAL UPGRADES AT THE CRAWFORD COUNTY FAIRGROUND CONTRACT 13-ELEC-01: ELECTRICAL Copies of the Contract Manual may be obtained at the office of The EADS Group, Inc., 450 Aberdeen Drive, Somerset, PA 15501, upon deposit of fifty-three dollars ($53.00), which price includes 6% ($3.00) Pennsylvania Sales Tax for each set. Deposits are non-refundable. The Contract Manual is on file both at the office of The EADS Group, Inc. (814-445-6551) and the office of the Crawford County Commissioners for viewing by interested Bidders. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose names and addresses are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents. A certified check, payable to the Crawford County Commissioners, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and the Surety Company, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. In the event the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Commissioners and the Bidder. Work under this aforementioned Contract is subject to the requirements of the "Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act." The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The successful Bidder will be required to fully complete all work within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from, and including, the date indicated by the Commissioners in their written Notice to Proceed.
