PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that Lakeland Sand & Gravel, Inc. has requested bond release for surface mining permit No. 20030301 pursuant to the Noncoal Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act. The permit was issued on 9-7-2004 and is located on the south side Vernon Road 14 mile east of its intersection with Route 322 in Sadsbury Twp. Crawford County. Bond release of $28,000 is requested on 28 acres. Total bond held is $49,500. The release area has been regarded and revegetated. Written comments, objections, and requests for a public hearing or informal conference may be submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection, Mining Operations, P.O.
