PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO RE- ISSUE TITLE V OPERATING PERMIT #20-00123 In accordance with 25 Pa. Code _ 127.521, the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) intends to re-issue a Title V Operating Permit to the Lord Corporation, for its facility located in Cambridge Springs, Crawford County. The Lord Corp. representative to contact concerning this application is Mr. Richard Henderson, Facility Environmental Health Safety Manager, 124 Grant Street, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403. His phone number is (814) 398-4641, Ext. 600. The Lord Corp. facility is used to produce fabricated rubber and metal parts. The facility is a major stationary source as defined in Title I, Part D of the Clean Air Act Amendments due to the facility’s potential to emit VOCs. The facility is therefore subject to the Title V Operating Permit requirements adopted in 25 Pa. Code Chapter 127, Subchapter G. The annual potential emissions from the facility are as follows: NOx – 1.1 tons, SOx - 0.006 tons, CO - 0.92 tons, VOC – 25.5 tons, PM10 - 0.033 tons, Total HAPs – 8.7 tons, and Individual HAPs (greater than 10 TPY) – none. Copies of the application, the Department’s analysis and other documents used in the evaluation of the application are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Department of Environmental Protection, 230 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335. Any person wishing to provide the Department of Environmental Protection with additional information that they believe should be considered prior to the issuance of this permit may submit the information to the Department at the address shown above. A 30-day comment period, from the date of this publication, will exist for the submission of comments. Each written comment must contain the following information: • Name, address and telephone number of the person submitting the comments. • Identification of the proposed permit (specify Permit # TV 20-00123) • Concise statements regarding the relevancy of the information in the proposed permit or objections to issuance of the permit. A public hearing may be held, if the Department, in its discretion, decides that such a hearing is warranted based on the information received. All persons submitting comments or requesting a hearing will be notified of the decision to hold a hearing by publication in the newspaper or by the Pennsylvania Bulletin, or by telephone, where the Department determines such notification by telephone is sufficient.
