PUBLIC NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID ECONOMIC PROGRESS ALLIANCE OF CRAWFORD COUNTY CRAWFORD RENEWABLE ENERGY PHASE 1 RAILROAD CONSTRUCTION The Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County requests bids for the Crawford Renewable Energy Phase 1 Railroad Construction Contract No. 12017-2013-01. Work includes the construction of approximately 3,708-linear feet of new industry track including 5 turnouts servicing Crawford Renewable Energy. The work also includes clearing and grubbing, grading, stormwater management facilities, erosion and sedimentation control, etc. A pre-bid conference will be held at the William J. Douglass, Jr. Conference Center, 764 Bessemer Street, Meadville, PA 16335 at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014, and weather-permitting, followed by a site walk-through; attendance is recommended. Bids must be submitted to the Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County offices by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014. The bids will be opened and read publicly at 2:15 p.m. at the William J. Douglass, Jr. Conference Center. Sixty-day minimum bid hold period applies, and ten percent bid security is required.
