PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE BY THE BOROUGH OF LINESVILLE NOTICE is given that the Borough of Linesville intends to consider the passing of a proposed Ordinance to be known as Linesville Borough Open Burning Ordinance, (Code of Linesville Borough, Chapter 212). This Ordinance will be added to and amend Part II, General Legislation, of the Code of Linesville Borough as Chapter 212 and provides for regulations to control all outdoor burning and open burning within the Borough of Linesville in order to promote the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Borough of Linesville. This Ordinance provides for specific definitions with regard to open burning and outdoor burning; prohibits any open burning on Sundays with the exception of campfires; provides for the right of entry and inspection by the Linesville Borough Police Department; as well as providing enforcement provisions and penalties for violation of the Ordinance. Council of the Borough of Linesville shall consider the passing of this Ordinance at its May 13, 2014 meeting at 7 p.m. at the Linesville Borough Building located at 103 West Erie Street, Linesville, Pennsylvania.
