PUBLIC NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received by the Union Township, 2nd Class, of Crawford County at 7236 Mercer Pike, Meadville PA 16335 until 6:30 PM on May 19, 2014 for the following: • 24 Ton Superpave WMA Scratch Course • 324 Ton Superpave WMA Leveling Course • 594 Ton Superpave WMA Wearing Course • 10,800 SY Bituminous Tack Coat • 1 LS Mobilization • 1 LS MP&T • 85 Ton 2RC • 5 Ton Superpave WMA Scratch Course • 10 Ton Superpave WMA Wearing Course • 100 SY Bituminous Tack Coat • 1 LS Mobilization • 1 LS MP&T Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $825.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Call 814-425-2485 to request forms. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.
