PUBLIC NOTICE The ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability. Title II of ADA applies specifically to all activities of state and local governments and requires that government entities give people with disabilities equal opportunity to benefit from all of the programs, services and activities that may be offered. Crawford County is undergoing a 504/ADA Self-evaluation and is preparing a Transition Plan to assure all County programs and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. An ADA Committee is being formed to review solicited input and make recommendations for the County's Transitional Plan. If you would like to be a member of the ADA Committee, please contact Amy Schmidt at 814-333-7309 or aschmidt@co.crawford.pa.us. The first ADA Committee meeting will be held on June 25th at 3:30 in the Commissioners Meeting Room, Courthouse, 903 Diamond Park, Meadville, PA 16335. 06/11/14
