PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of West Mead Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania will conduct three hearings on the following zoning applications beginning at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the West Mead Township building located at 1150 Morgan Village Road in West Mead Township. The first hearing is for an application of Terry Shaulis for a Special Exception for a Home Occupation, under Section 504.3 of the Zoning Ordinance, for relocation and operation of his existing business Fab Trim Shop, on his residence located at 9516 Liberty Street Extension in West Mead Township, in a Rural Residential Zoning District and for a Variance from the restriction on Home Occupation signage size found at Section 601(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to allow for a 2 foot by 2 foot sign for the Home Occupation. He also is requesting a Variance from the restrictions on business signs located off the business premises set forth in Section 630.1(n) of the West Mead Zoning Ordinance so that a permanent sign advertising his business can be placed at the northeast corner of the intersection of Route 322 and Liberty Street Extension on lands not owned by or used for the business. The second hearing is for an application of Jeremy Ender for a Variance, under Sections 507.1 and 607 of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow him to temporarily locate sections of a double wide mobile home on his adjoining property while he performs renovations so that he may replace his existing single wide mobile home once completed on his residence located at 19227 Mulligan Lane in West Mead Township, in a Medium Density Residential Special Zoning District. The third hearing is for an application of Anthony Quindardo for a Variance, under Section 505.1 of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow him to locate a 12 foot by 24 foot garage to be used for storage on vacant property located between Hunter Road and Pettis Road. Detached garages are normally considered accessory uses to permitted residential dwelling uses in a Low Density Residential Zoning District. The applications will be considered in accordance with the applicable standards set forth in Sections 1005.3 of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable legal standards.
