Invitation for Bids The Housing Authority of the City of Danville (DHA) will accept sealed bids for the renovation of the main lobby at the Central Administration Building located at 1607 Clyman Lane in Danville, IL. Bid documents including instructions to bidders outlining the scope of the proposed work and associated requirements related to federally funded projects will be available at the DHA Central Administration Building at 1607 Clyman Lane after 9:00a.m. on November 4, 2014. Documents may also be obtained by contacting RW Kobel at (217) 444-3111 or by e-mail at rkobel@hacd-hud.com. No partial sets will be distributed. No deposit for documents will be required. Qualified resident owned and minority or women owned providers are encouraged to submit bids. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Central Administration building at 10:00 a.m. local time on November 18, 2014 to review the bidding process and discuss specific issues related to the project and the bid documents. Minutes of the pre-bid conference will be distributed to all plan holders by the DHA. Attendance by potential bidders is not required but is strongly recommended. failure to attend will not absolve the provider of any responsibility for errors or omissions. Box #168 Danville, IL 61834 Bids must be sealed in an opaque envelope clearly marked, "DHA/Lobby Renovation/2014#DHA-14-CC-09-CF14". Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on December 4, 2014. Bids received after that time and date will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened and read out loud at the Central Administration on this date and time. The DHA reserves the right to reject or accept bids and award a contract based on the procurement policy of the DHA and the best interests of the Authority. Bids received will be irrevocable for a period of sixty days after the opening date. This project will be federally funded and subject to all regulations as reflected in the DHA Procurement Policy and documents included in the bid package.
