PUBLIC NOTICE LEGAL NOTICE - ACTION TO QUIET TITLE IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF CRAWFORD COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA CIVIL ACTION - LAW CHANDLER R. MASON, Plaintiff vs. EDWARD O. MELBERG and GERTRUDE M. MELBERG, their personal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns, Defendants No. A.D. 2013 - TO: EDWARD O. MELBERG AND GERTRUDE M. MELBERG, THEIR PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, HEIRS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, DEFENDANTS TAKE NOTICE that the named Plaintiff has filed a Complaint in Action to Quiet Title averring that Chandler R. Mason is the owner of the following described premises, to-wit: ALL that certain piece or parcel of land situate in North Shenango Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, being known and described as Lot #254 of the Tuttle Allotment Plan of Lots as recorded at Crawford County Plan Book 3, page 62. Said lot is further identified as Crawford County Tax Parcel No. 4602-001-254. Plaintiff avers that the present whereabouts or existence of the Defendants, or their personal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns, is unknown to him, that he and his predecessors in title have been in open, adverse, notorious, and continuous possession of the property for a period of twenty-one years and upwards, and that he is the sole owner of the property by deed dated April 24, 2012, recorded May 25, 2012, at Crawford County Record Book 1086, page 501. Plaintiff has requested the Court to decree that title to said property is vested in the Plaintiff, and to enjoin the Defendants, their personal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns, from asserting title to said premises or from impeaching, denying or in any way attacking Plaintiff’s title to said property. TAKE NOTICE THAT THE COURT HAS ORDERED THAT THE AFOREMENTIONED COMPLAINT BE SERVED BY PUBLICATION. IF YOU WISH TO DEFEND AGAINST THE CLAIMS SET FORTH IN THE COMPLAINT, YOU MUST TAKE ACTION WITHIN TWENTY (20) DAYS AFTER THE COMPLAINT AND NOTICE ARE SERVED BY PUBLICATION BY ENTERING A WRITTEN APPEARANCE PERSONALLY OR BY ATTORNEY AND FILING IN WRITING WITH THE COURT YOUR DEFENSES OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CLAIMS SET FORTH AGAINST YOU. YOU ARE WARNED THAT IF YOU FAIL TO DO SO, THE CASE MAY PROCEED WITHOUT YOU AND A JUDGMENT MAY BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU BY THE COURT WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE FOR ANY MONEY CLAIMED IN THE PRAYER FOR RELIEF, OR FOR ANY OTHER CLAIM OR RELIEF REQUESTED BY THE PLAINTIFFS.
