11/13, 16 2014 PUBLIC HEARING & INFORMATION MEETING Scheduled by THE CITY OF DANVILLE For The Danville High School Shared Use Path Improvement, Danville, Illinois The City of Danville will hold a Public Hearing and Informational Meeting concerning the proposed improvement of portions of Fairchild and Jackson Streets. The proposed improvement begins at Fairchild and Section including the construction of an 8 foot wide shared use path sidewalk along Fairchild from Section to Jackson, a 10 foot wide shared use path sidewalk along Jackson from Fairchild to English, landscaped medians on Fairchild between Washington and Jackson, reconstruction of the intersection of Fairchild and Jackson, and reconstruction of the intersection of Jackson and English. Public comment regarding the project will be gathered. The meeting will be held at the YMCA at 1111 N. Vermilion on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting. Persons with a disability planning to attend this meeting should contact the individual listed below by November 18, 2014. If special accommodations are required, the contact person should be informed at the time of contact. The meeting room is accessible to persons with a disability. The meeting will be conducted on a formal basis. A brief presentation of the status of the project, the proposals under consideration, and the decisions to be made will begin at 6:00 p.m. Representatives of the City of Danville will be available from 15 minutes prior until the presentation and also after the presentation to discuss the project. Representatives will answer individual questions and record comments offered by those in attendance. Verbatim comments will be recorded. The presentation will address topics such as the need for the project, the design alternatives under consideration, right-of-way acquisition and relocation assistance, and the tentative construction schedule. Preliminary reports, including environmental documents and an engineering analysis with drawings, maps, and aerial photography, will be available for inspection and viewing during the entire time. The same material will be available for review and inspection at the City of Danville Voorhees facility at 1155 E Voorhees Street. For more information, contact R.
