NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING ROUTE 3037 (William Penn Avenue) Prospect Viaduct Bridge Preservation Project The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house plans display to inform the public of the updated proposed Route 3037 (William Penn Avenue) Prospect Viaduct Bridge Preservation project in the City of Johnstown, Cambria County. The project will include installing new strip seal joints, replacing the existing bridge barrier, placing a latex modified concrete overlay on the existing bridge deck, replacing light poles on bridge, minor approach roadway work, and guiderail updates. During construction, all traffic will be controlled via phased construction. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project and detour route. Representatives of PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend this meeting.
