PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE Take notice that Cochranton Borough Council intends to adopt an Ordinance at Council's March 4, 2013 meeting. The purpose of the proposed Ordinance is to eliminate duplication of costs and services, and to avoid unnecessary expenditure of taxpayer monies. The Ordinance provides for the elimination of elected auditors for the Borough, so long as the Borough continues to retain and employ outside professional auditors in connection with financing of municipal improvement projects.
