NOTICE Notice is hereby given by the City of Johnstown that an Ordinance identified in Bill No. 28 of 2014 will be considered by City Council at a special meeting to be held December 17, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. in the Anthony C. Truscello Council Chamber, 4th Floor of the Public Safety Building, 401 Washington Street, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, for the purpose in introducing: AMENDING CHAPTER 874 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JOHNSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA, TITLED "EARNED INCOME TAX" AND SECTION 874.021 TITLED "IMPOSITION OF ADDITIONAL EARNED INCOME TAX RATE ON THE CITY RESIDENTS AND NON-CITY RESIDENTS;" AND SPECIFICALLY AMENDING ORDINANCE, 5138, PASSED FINALLY NOVEMBER 27, 2013 TO SET THE RESIDENT EARNED INCOME TAX RATE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2015 AT 1.5% AND SET THE EARNED INCOME TAX RATE FOR NON-RESIDENTS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2015 AT 1.1%, CONTINGENT UPON APPROVAL BY THE CAMBRIA COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS under provisions of the Commonwealth of PennsylvaniaÕs Municipality Financial Recovery Act 47.
