PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at 175 Orange Street, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, the Northumberland Borough Council, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, will act on an Ordinance (of which this Notice is the summary) authorizing the issuance of and awarding a not in excess of Thirteen Million Seven Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollar ($13,785,287.00), principal amount, Guaranteed Revenue Note, at a private sale. If enacted, the Ordinance will award the Note to The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority, approve the substantial form thereof, fix the rate of interest to be paid, pledge the Borough of Northumberland's (i) wastewater treatment system's gross revenues or receipts and (ii) full faith and credit for the payment thereof, create a sinking fund and authorize the proper officers to take the necessary steps to issue the Note. The funds to be obtained from the borrowing will be used for the following purpose: Repayment of interim financing related to, and financing the construction of, a vertical loop reactor wastewater treatment plant and the rehabilitation of the Queen Street pump station.
