LEGAL NOTICE The Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Cumberland, Maryland, created under Zoning Ordinance No. 3607, will meet in the Mayor and Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 57 North Liberty Street, Cumberland, Maryland, on WEDNESDAY, December 17, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of hearing the following Appeal as provided for under Section 7.05, Subsection 7.05.02 of Zoning Ordinance No. 3607. The case file for the appeal may be inspected at the Community Development office in the basement of City Hall between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. NOTICE IS GIVEN that at the said time and place, any person may appear and testify as to the use of said premises, or object to the issuance of any permits. The following Appeal will be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals: APPEAL NO. 125 - Request by Don Fischer, applicant, on behalf of Hampstead Cumberland Arms, property owner, for a Variance to the following section of the Cumberland Zoning Ordinance: Section 14.11.01 (7) (a) to permit an on-premise projecting sign to be installed 40 feet high (where the maximum permitted height limit is 25 feet above the street) on a building located at 64 Baltimore Street in the City of Cumberland.
