PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Sadsbury, Crawford County, Pennsylvania intend to adopt an Ordinance at the regular meeting of the Board to be held on the 12th day of March, 2013 at 1:30 o’clock P.M. at the Sadsbury Township Municipal Building, 9888 State Hwy 285, Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania 16316. The title of the Ordinance to be adopted is: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SADSBURY, CRAWFORD COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ESTABLISHING RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OF CERTAIN TOWNSHIP HIGHWAYS, AUTHORIZING SUPERVISORS TO IMPOSE RESTRICTIONS AS TO WEIGHT, PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS, AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES IN THE EVENT OF VIOLATION. That a summary of the provisions of the Ordinance is hereinafter set forth. The full text of the Ordinance may be examined at the office of the Tribune Publishing Company, 947 Federal Court, Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335 during regular business hours Monday through Friday; in addition the full text of the Ordinance may be examined at the office of the Township Secretary at the Township Building, 9888 State Hwy 285, Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania during regular business hours Monday through Friday; and finally the full text of the Ordinance may be examined in the office of the Crawford County Planning Commission located in the Crawford County Courthouse, Diamond Park, Meadville, Pennsylvania. The premises set forth in the Ordinance set forth the authority of the Township of Sadsbury, Crawford County, Pennsylvania to enact such an Ordinance and further provides that the Township has adopted an engineering study relative to the roads to be posted. Section I contains the definitions used throughout the Ordinance. Section II lists the roads that are to be posted. Section III addresses the requirements for posting of the roads. Section IV This section and its subparts a. through d. provides the procedure to be undertaken in the instance where the Township may issue permits for motor vehicles in excess of the prohibitions and restrictions established by the Ordinance. Section V provides that the Township by Resolution may establish a fee in connection with the issuance of a permit as provided for in Section IV. Section VI contains the severability clause. Section VII This section sets forth the procedure to be undertaken in the event of violation of the Ordinance and provides penalties for said violation. Section VIII contains the repealer clause. The repealer clause shall read as follows: This Ordinance repeals Sections 6 through 15 of Ordinance No. 190 – 2009 adopted on the 5th day of January, 2009.
