IT IS A VIOLATION FOR ANY PERSON OTHER THAN CITY CLERK TO REMOVE POSTED MINUTES REGULAR CINCINNATI CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT CINCINNATI COMMUNITY BUILDING MONDAY, December 8, 2014 AT 6 P.M. Mayor Rebecca Clark called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Council members Wireman, Shady, Long, Fowler and Clinkenbeard responded to roll call. Communications: Mayor reminded all that Cincinnati no longer has a city clerk, and that city hall will be opened periodically when the mayor can get up there. Approve agenda: Wireman made motion to approve the agenda; Shady seconded; vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Approve consent agenda: Wireman made motion to approve; Shady seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 6: Shady motioned to table; Wireman seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 7: Shady motioned to approve Resolution; Wireman seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 8: Shady motioned to approve Resolution; Wireman seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 9: Council discussed dog ordinance. Item 10: Discussed opening of bar/grill with new owners. Item 11: Fowler motioned to table the discussion until more information is available; Wireman seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motioned carried. Item 12: Shady motioned to renew CD; Fowler seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 13: Mayor informed council of changes to city credit cards. Item 14: Fowler motioned to table; Wireman seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 15: Department Reports; VFD: assisted with old Iowegian building burn, DNR matching grant approved, need new pagers, still looking for a fire truck. Parks and Community: none; Cemetery: None as locator unable to attend meeting until April due to EMS training. Water & Sewer: We can test our own PH levels per DNR request. Roads: Sander broken again, many potholes throughout town. Item 16: Discussed recommendations from state auditor. Item 17: Wireman motioned to accept resignation of city clerk; Shady seconded; Vote: all ayes. Motion carried. Item 18: Mayor informed council she requested add to be in Ad Express edition for the next two weeks and will set a council meeting for Monday December 22 to hire a new clerk. Public comments: M. Stewart, P. Nelson and P. Houser. At that time, council member Fowler handed in her resignation effective immediately. Shady made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Wireman seconded. Vote: all ayes.
