NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Council of the Borough of Franklin, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, that a hearing on the hereinafter mentioned Petition will be held on January 6, 2015, at 11:30 oÕclock a.m. in Courtroom No. 2, Cambria County Courthouse, Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. The petition in question is entitled: PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF AN INCREASE IN EARNED INCOME TAX LEVY The Petition is filed in the Court of Common Pleas of Cambria County to No. 2014-5764 by the Borough of Franklin pursuant to the provisions of the Municipalities Financial Recovery Act, 53 P.S. 11701.123 (c) and 11701.141, seeking Court approval to levy an additional earned income tax of .40% on residents of Franklin Borough and .30% on non-residents for the year 2015, the proceeds of which shall be used for general government purposes and will not be shared with the school district.
