PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of West Mead Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania will conduct two hearings on the following zoning applications beginning at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the West Mead Township building located at 1150 Morgan Village Road in West Mead Township. The first hearing is for an application of Ms. Perrine, owner of J.D.s Tap House, located at 440 Baldwin Street in West Mead Township, in a Low Density Residential Zoning District, for a Variance from the Use Restrictions of Section 505.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow construction of a 20 foot by 30 foot structure with attached 20 foot by 30 foot deck located to the rear of the property behind the existing business facility for outdoor seating and entertainment in conjunction with the present business use, and a dimensional variance from the rear yard setback requirement of Section 505.4 to allow the new structure to be set 2 feet from the rear property line. The second hearing is for an application of Mr. and Mrs. John Shartle for a Special Exception for a Home Occupation, under Sections 505.3 and 601 of the Zoning Ordinance, for operation of a window tinting and graphics business from their residence located at 21829 Shartle Road in West Mead Township, in the Low Density Residential Zoning District, and for a Variance from the restriction on Home Occupation signage size found at Section 601(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to allow for a 30 inch by 48 inch sign for the Home Occupation. The Variance application will be considered in accordance with the applicable standards set forth in Sections 1005.3 of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable legal standards.
