PUBLIC NOTICE LINESVILLE BOROUGH ATTENTION LINESVILLE BOROUGH RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS On December 11, 2012, Linesville Borough Council approved Ordinance No. 310-2012, a tax levy Ordinance that increased and levied a tax of 12.2 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation on all real property within the Borough of Linesville for 2013. Thereafter, when the tax bills we mailed recently, the bills incorrectly noted the millage as 10 mills rather than 12.2 mills. Accordingly, new and revised tax bills will be mailed with the correct millage, said bills labeled as corrected 2013 tax bills. Disregard the original bill and pay the amount on the corrected 2013 tax bill. Any payments made will be credited accordingly. The failure to provide the correct millage does not relieve or excuse the obligation to pay the tax due.
