Public Notice CITY OF JOHNSTOWN Boards Authorities and Commissions The City of Johnstown has ongoing process for accepting applications from city residents interested and willing to serve on the various Boards, Authorities and Commissions. Appointments are made by a majority of Council four (4) affirmative votes. Applications are available and accepted at the Office of the City Manager during normal business hours, by contacting a member of Council and via the City Website www.cityofjohnstownpa.net. All applications submitted, regardless of date, remain active unless withdrawn by the respective applicants, and shall be considered for appointment. Boards, Authorities and Commissions include the following: Made by City Council Members Johnstown Civil Service Board (3) City Planning Commission (9) City Zoning Hearing Board (3) Johnstown Housing Authority (5) Greater Johnstown Water Authority (3) Shade Tree Commission (5) Vacant Property Review Board (5) Board of Appeals - Code Hearing Board (5) Appointments made by the Mayor Johnstown Redevelopment Authority (5) This notice is required to be published once quarterly in the Tribune-Democrat on the first week in the months of January, April, July and October of each year.
