The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and The Human Resources Development Commission of Allegany County Announce the Opening of the Housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting Lists for Allegany County and the City of Cumberland The Waiting Lists for Allegany Countys and for the City of Cumberlands Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Programs will open on Monday, February 2, 2015. All applicants must submit a preliminary application in order to be placed on a waiting list. Preliminary applications are available at the Human Resources Development Commission (HRDC) located at 125 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502. You may obtain an application by visiting HRDC between on weekdays between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. If an applicant has special needs or is unable to travel to HRDC, please contact HRDC at 301-777-5970.
