PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received and opened publicly at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Meadville, Crawford County, in the City Building at 894 Diamond Park, Meadville, Pennsylvania until 2:00 p.m. o'clock prevailing time, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, for the following: FURNISHING ONE 2013 POLICE CRUISER FOR THE MEADVILLE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT Bidding blanks and specifications may be obtained at the office of the Public Works Department at 1340 S. Cottage Street, Meadville, Pennsylvania or by calling (814) 724-6054 Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid made out to the City of Meadville, as a guarantee that the bidder will furnish proper bonds satisfactory to the Meadville City Council and enter into a contract to furnish the vehicle. This check or bid bond will be forfeited to the City of Meadville in case of failure to do so. All proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the City of Meadville. ALL ENVELOPES CONTAINING BID PROPOSALS SHALL BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE WORDS, "SEALED BID", AND THE BID TITLE.
