PUBLIC NOTICE BID ADVERTISEMENT Sealed Bids will be received by the Borough of Edinboro, located at 124 Meadville Street; Edinboro, PA 16412, until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on the 2nd day of April, 2013, for the Borough of Edinboro Municipal Building Contract 1-2013 Interior Ceiling Insulation Project. This project will consist of insulating ceiling joist and interior attic walls with spray on foam insulation. Each bid must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check, bank cashiers check, or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price in accordance with provisions contained in the Instructions to Bidders section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the Borough of Edinboro. All bidders are required to visit the project site to view existing conditions. Copies of contract documents, including plans and specifications for the work, may be examined at the Borough of Edinboro; 124 Meadville Street; Edinboro, PA 16412 (814-734-1812); or at the office of Hill Engineering, Inc., 8 Gibson Street, North East, Pennsylvania 16428 (814-725-8659). The contract documents may be obtained from Hill Engineering, Inc. upon payment of $50. This payment is for each set of contract documents and is non-refundable. Bidders or vendors requesting next day or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of contract documents. If the project cost is $25,000 or greater, the Contractor must comply with the PA Department of Labor and Industry Wage Rate Determinations, as specified in the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date of opening. The Borough of Edinboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any item or combination of items contained in any bid and to waive any irregularities in conjunction therewith.
