(Published In THE TIMES, Mayes County, Oklahoma January 15, 22, 2017) Locust Grove Schools will be accepting bids for the Locust Grove Early Learning Center Driveway Project. The Project specifications will need to be bid as follows: 1. Stripping of top soil, stock pile on school property (640 ft x 30 ft) 2. Building entry way off Hwy 82 3. Constructing road in 8 to 10 lifts, cut bar ditches for proper drainage 4. Installing a 18 (60 ft) RCP pipe with 4 to 1 concrete slopes on state property 5. Installing a 18 (40 ft) culvert at the 90 degree turn 6. Topping road off with 6 of 1 1/2 crusher run and compacting road 7. Filling the barrowed pit in and filling it at 8 to 10 lifts. Compacting it with material 8. Dress up the site and smoothing up the disturbed area, then seeding it with Rye Grass 9. Cost of asphalt. District 3 of Mayes County will assist in the labor of the final stages, forming the crusher gravel and laying the asphalt.
