BOROUGH OF NEW FLORENCE NOTICE PURSUANT TO LOCAL TAX ENABLING ACT, (53 PS ¤ 6924.301.1 et seq) At its regular monthly meeting, at 7:00 p.m. on January 17, 2017, at the New Florence Borough Building, the Borough of New Florence will act on proposed Ordinance No. 214 establishing the 2017 real estate tax rate at twenty and one-half (20.5) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation of said real estate within the Borough. In the judgment of the council members of the Borough of New Florence, the imposition of said tax may be necessary in order to improve and expand police coverage for the Borough. The estimated amount of revenue to be derived from the tax in 2017 is approximately Seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($7,200.00). BOROUGH OF NEW FLORENCE James Moore, Borough Council President
