Previously Enrolled in the
Rockwall ISD Special Education Department
According to Federal Regulations §300.573, “The public agency shall inform parents when personally identifiable information collected, maintained, or used under this part is no longer needed to provide educational services to the child.” This notice pertains to students who were dismissed or graduated from the Special Education Department in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
These special education records will be destroyed in accordance with state law unless the parent/guardian or eligible (adult) student notifies the District otherwise. Records not requested by February 10, 2017, will be destroyed on February 13, 2017. If you wish to have these records, please notify the Rockwall ISD Special Education Department at
