ADVERTISEMENT AND INVITATION FOR BIDS
The
City of Frankston
will receive bids for the Elm Street 88,000 Gallon Elevated Storage Tank Rehabilitation. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 240 West Main Street, Frankston, TX 75763. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 240 West Main Street, Frankston, TX 75763. Bids received after 2:00 pm will be returned, unopened.
Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications are on file at Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. (SPI), 320 S Broadway Ave, Suite 200, Tyler, TX 75702 and at City of Frankston, 240 West Main Street, Frankston, TX 75763
PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS may be examined without charge at Frankston City Hall. Bid forms and plans may be examined or obtained at the office of SPI, 320 S. Broadway Ave, Suite 200, Tyler, Texas 75702. One copy of each set of documents may be obtained from Schaumburg & Polk, Inc., upon payment of $100.00. No refunds will be made. Plans can also be found online at http://www.isqft.com/ or http://www.civcastusa.com/.
A Bidderis Bond, Certified or Cashieris Check in an amount not less than (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Frankston, Texas.
This project will include the rehabilitation and coating on the interior and exterior of an existing 88,000 gal steel EST.
The project is to be substantially complete within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed, and shall be fully complete within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $300.00 per day shall be assessed for any days in which contract time is exceeded.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The City of Frankston reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
