Pursuant to the Official Code of Georgia Annotated§ 21-2-131(a)(l)(A), Qualifying for the Office of Mayor and three Council Members for the
City of Meigs
Municipal General Election will begin August 21, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. and end August 25, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall located at 1006 East Depot Street Meigs Ga.
Qualifying Fee for Mayor - $5.00
Qualifying Fee for Council Members - $5.00
The last day to register and be eligible to vote in the 2017 Municipal General Election will be October 10, 2017.
The Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. On Election Day, voting for all districts will take place at the Meigs Community Center 2006 East Depot Street, Meigs Ga.
