PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Woodcock, Crawford County, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing to take public comment regarding renewal of a non-exclusive cable franchise of the cable operator, Coaxial Cable Television Corporation. The hearing will take place at the start of the time of the regular meeting of the Borough Council on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Borough building at Heist Park, 23366 Gravel Run Road in Saegertown, PA. The purpose of the hearing is to identify the future cable-related community needs of Woodcock Borough and review the performance of the cable operator, Coaxial Cable Television Corporation. Notice is further given that following the time for the public hearing on the cable franchise renewal, the Borough Council of the Borough of Woodcock intends to consider and enact an ordinance to grant renewal of a non-exclusive cable franchise to Coaxial Cable Television Corporation. The title of the ordinance is: An Ordinance to Grant Renewal of a Non-Exclusive Cable Franchise to Coaxial Cable Television Corporation in Accordance with the Provisions, Terms and Conditions of Woodcock Borough Ordinance No. 11487 of 1987, as Amended, Commencing from November 4, 2012. A summary follows: Section 1 grants renewal of a non-exclusive cable franchise to Coaxial Cable Television Corp subject to the existing terms and conditions commencing from November 4, 2012. Section 2 amends the term of the non-exclusive cable franchise to an initial term of 5 years commencing November 4, 2012 and up to 2 subsequent renewal terms of 5 years each and makes an editorial change. Section 3 and 4 makes the ordinance severable and repeals inconsistent ordinances respectively. The ordinance will be effective upon approval by the Mayor or, if no approval, upon final approval by the Borough Council.
