PUBLIC NOTICE BID ADVERTISEMENT The Crawford County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the following: (1) new roof and; (2) exterior restoration project(s) for the Crawford County Courthouse at the County Commissioners Office, 903 Diamond Park 1st Floor, Meadville, PA until 2:00 PM {local prevailing time}, Tuesday, June 4, 2013. At that time, the bids will be opened publicly and read out loud. Separate bids will be required on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: • 04 01 00 Exterior Restoration and Cleaning • 07 52 00 Roofing A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 @ 2:00 PM at the Crawford County Courthouse, 903 Diamond Park, Meadville, PA in the Assembly Room for the purpose of reviewing the project and answering bidders questions. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate and mailed or delivered in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked on the face of the envelope the words "Crawford County Courthouse New Roof and Exterior Restoration". If the bid is mailed, the envelope containing the bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the words "sealed bid enclosed (scope of work being bid)" endorsed on the face thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in accordance with the bid documents made out to the Crawford County Commissioners. All bidders must submit each bid with the understanding that the County of Crawford will require a Performance, Labor and Material Payment and Maintenance Bonds as specified. The cost of the required bonds shall be included in the Base Bid. Attention is called to the fact that the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry has issued Prevailing Wage Determination for this project which be an integral part of the project and must be complied with for the duration of the work. Plans and specifications may be examined and obtained via an FTP site (Newforma Info Exchange) by request from the firm Weber Murphy Fox.
