PUBLIC NOTICE BOROUGH OF CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Unit Debt Act, the Act of July 12, 1972 as amended and reenacted by the Act of April 28, 1978, No. 52, notice is hereby given that on June 3, 2013 at a special joint public meeting with the Borough of Cambridge Springs and the Cambridge Area Joint Authority duly called and held in accordance with the provisions of applicable law at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the offices of the Borough of Cambridge, 161 Carringer Street, Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania 16403, the Borough Council of the Borough of Cambridge finally enacted the following Ordinance. An ordinance authorizing the increase of lease rental debt by the Borough of Cambridge, Crawford County, Pennsylvania through the guarantee of $2,153,639 Guaranteed Sewer Revenue Note, Series of 2013 (the Note), by the Cambridge Area Joint Authority pursuant to a Guaranty Agreement. The Note is issued for the purpose of currently refunding the outstanding Cambridge Area Joint Authoritys Guaranteed Sewer Revenue Bonds, Series of 2002, the 2005 Pennvest Note and pay the costs of issuance of the Note. The Note was sold at private negotiated sale to PNC Bank, N.A. The price bid for the Note was $2,153,639 and the Boroughs guaranteed proportionate principal share is $1,847,872.26. The interest rate for the Note is 2.54% maturing on July 1, 2026. The range of annual lease rental payments guaranteed by the Borough is $69,602.85 in 2013, $167,046.84 in 2014 through 2025, and $97,443.60 in 2026.
