PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Summit Township intend to adopt the following Ordinance at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors to be held at the Summit Township Municipal Building, 10956 Plum Street, Harmonsburg, Summit Township, Pennsylvania on the 6th day of August, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. The title and a synopsis of the text of the Ordinance to be adopted is as follows: SUMMIT TOWNSHIP CRAWFORD COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ORDINANCE NO. 2- 2013 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SUMMIT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LOCUST AVENUE AS A TWO WAY STREET WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP, PROHIBITING LEFT TURNS ONTO ROUTE 18, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION. Whereas, the Township Supervisors, after completing a traffic study, have decided to make Locust Avenue a two-way street but prohibit left turns from the eastern terminus of Locust Avenue on to State Route 18 and permit only right turns into the southbound lane of Route 18.
