PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of West Mead Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania will conduct a hearing on the following zoning application beginning at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the West Mead Township building located at 1150 Morgan Village Road in West Mead Township to consider the application of Randolph Detzel for a Variance from the front yard setback requirements of Section 506.1 of the West Mead Township Zoning Ordinance and from the restrictions on size of accessory structures of Section 603 of the Zoning Ordinance, so that he can construct an additional 24 foot by 28 foot detached garage on his property located on 10426 Franklin Pike in West Mead Township, in a Medium Density Residential Zoning District. The garage setback would be located 27 feet from the front yard property line instead of the required 40 foot requirement and with the additional accessory building area, this exceeds the limitations set forth in Section 603. The application will be considered in accordance with the applicable standards set forth in Sections 1005.3 of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable legal standards.
