SOAP CREEK WATERSHED BOARD A meeting of the Soap Creek Watershed Board was held on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 9:30 AM at the Monroe County ISU Extension, Albia, Iowa. Board members present were: Ron Bride, Jody McDanel, Ray Moore, Jerry Parker, Mervin McDanel, Carl Miller, Tim Sandeen and Michael Beary. Minutes of the October meeting was approved. The November Treasurers Report was approved. The following bills were approved: $14.08 Iowegian published minutes-$14.49 Monroe SWCD office mailings. Approved a motion to add Ealy (Tomash) and McPherren sites pending funding and to move forward with Phase I making Ealy (Tomash) site the first priority and McPherren 2nd priority if there is a lack of funds to complete both. Approved a motion to request an extension from FEMA through June 30, 2015. Approved a motion to approve up to $3,500 cost to install a crossing above site 90-85 on Ruby property. Reports for Legislative activities, Project Reports and NRCS Administrative activities were presented. There was no Mitigation activities. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 9:30 AM at the Great Prairie AEA Building in Ottumwa, IA. Meeting adjourned at 10:55 AM. Runs 1x November 4th, 2104
