PUBLIC NOTICE The Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) is soliciting proposals from maintenance providers interested in contracting with CATA to provide vehicle maintenance services in both the Meadville and Titusville areas. Proposals marked "CATA Vehicle Maintenance" will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., April 19, 2013. Proposals received after this day and time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The terms and conditions of submitted proposals, including, but not limited to, prices, must remain in effect for ninety (90) calendar days from April 19, 2013. Requests for proposal documents, correspondence and final proposals should be directed to Mr. Douglas Sekerski, Operations Manager, CATA, 214 Pine St Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335. The successful Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable State and Federal Rules and Regulations including but not limited to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) regulations. The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, as amended applies to this solicitation. All CATA contracts are contingent upon Federal and State approval and Federal and State grant agreements. Federal Transit Administration and State Regulations through PennDOT will at anytime supersede contracts or arrangements set forth within this RFP process.
