ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The City of Ashland, Kentucky, “Ashland 29th Street Storm Water Separation” project. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the City Clerk’s Office at 1700 Greenup Avenue, Room 301/401, Ashland, KY 41101. The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City Commission Chamber at 3:15 pm thereafter. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of 6,875 linear feet of 15”-48” diameter storm sewer lines along 29th Street from Central Avenue to Belmonte with corresponding side lines up 29th Street West, Simpson Avenue. The project includes all associated curb and drop box inlets, precast headwalls and manholes, large cast in place headwalls, pavement replacement - which includes the widening of a section of 29th Street, disconnection, demolition, or removal of various existing storm inlets from combined sewer, maintenance of traffic, trench shoring, and other associated work required for completion of the project. Approximately, 205 linear feet of 8” sanitary sewers and associated lateral connections will also be constructed as part of the project. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful BIDDER and all Subcontractors will be required to conform to the labor standards set forth in the Contract Documents. No BIDDER may withdraw its Bid within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
