NOTICE OF PROPOSED ACTION TO INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS TO ENTER INTO A LOAN AND DISBURSEMENT AGREEMENT IN A PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,376,000 (SEWER REVENUE) The City Council of the City of New Sharon, Iowa, will meet on September 5, 2018, at the city hall, 101 S. Main St., in the City, at 6 oÕclock p.m., for the purpose of instituting proceedings and taking action to enter into a loan and disbursement agreement (the ÒAgreementÓ) and to borrow money thereunder in a principal amount not to exceed $2,376,000, for the purpose of paying the cost, to that extent, of planning, designing and constructing improvements and extensions to the CityÕs Municipal Sanitary Sewer System. The Agreement will not constitute a general obligation of the City, nor will it be payable in any manner by taxation but, together with the CityÕs outstanding Sewer Revenue Bond, SRF Series 2001, dated September 28, 2001 and any additional obligations of the City as may be hereafter issued and outstanding from time to time ranking on a parity therewith, will be payable solely and only from the Net Revenues of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System of the City. At the aforementioned time and place, oral or written objections may be filed or made to the proposal to enter into the Agreement. Pursuant to the "Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act" and the "Clean Streams Law" notice is hereby given that Ebensburg Power Company, 11 Lloyd Avenue, Suite 200, Latrobe, PA 15650 has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for a permit to conduct surface mining activities in Cambria Township, Cambria County, PA. The site is called the Revloc 1 Coal Refuse Operation. The application includes a request to change the postmining land use from Wildlife Habitat to Industrial / Commercial. The proposed permit area is 56.5 acres and is situated about 6/10ths of a mile west of the intersection of Routes 422 / 219 adjacent to the town of Revloc, PA. The receiving stream for this proposed permit area is South Branch Blacklick Creek. The Nanty Glo PA., U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map contains the area described. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Cambria County Conservation District office located at 401 Candlelight Drive Suite 229, Ebensburg, PA 15931.
