The proposed operation occupies a 74 acre tract near Midland, Maryland on the east side of Georges Creek 0.5 miles southeast of Midland in Election District No. 18, Allegany County, MD Grid Coordinates: N 704,302 E 764,559. Access to the site will be from an old haul road off of Paradise Road in the town of Midland. Property Tax Form 50-198 NOTICE OF TAX REVENUE INCREASE The Navarro College District conducted public hearings on August 16, 2018 and August 23, 2018 on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues of the Navarro College District from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 4.2 percent. The total tax revenue proposed to be raised last year at last year’s tax rate of 0.1218 for each $100 of taxable value was $3,843,843. The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of 0.1218 for each $100 of taxable value, excluding tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $4,071,917. The Navarro College District is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on August 30, 2018 at Navarro College, Walker Dining Hall, Lone Star Room, 3200 W. 7th Avenue, Corsicana, Texas 75110, at 7:00 p.m. The Navarro College Board of Trustees proposes to use the increase in total tax revenue for the purpose of providing for the maintenance and operations of the Corsicana Campus.
